Santa Baby....

What do you get the girl who wants everything......hmmmmm

1) The new iPod shuffle. Who cares that I have the iPod nano - I want to be able to clip it anywhere on my body like they do in the commercials...
2) I need a dang toaster and electric can opener......Using a manual can opener SUCKS and putting bread in the stove to toast it is so frickin' ghetto! LOL
3) some peace and quiet.....life is so topsy turvy right now. I just want 6 months of drama free living. Is that too much for a girl to ask
4) I would love, love, love a vacation - preferably somewhere beachy, quiet and desolate. A beach chair, fruity drink and a trashy magazine are all I need.....

Welcome to My Electronic Couch

Life sucks right now! So, I thought that I would try to channel all of my stress into a blog. Saying "blog" kinda reminds me of saying "blah", which kinda reminds me of vomiting - so these writing thing might be virtual vomit, if you will... Just trying to get out all of the junk that is weighing on my shoulders. There's a lot going on in my life...some of its straight out of a damn Lifetime Movie.....some of it's sad.....some of it's shocking.....some of its dramatic......but, it's my life and I need to learn how to manage it. You may want to read, you may not. But, did I do it for you? Heck no! But, if I can encourage someone along the way, that would be great.

So, who am I? I am an overweight, insecure 31 year old woman who hasn't had a date in forever, and a boyfriend in forever times two! I am working on my PhD, but I just got a damn D in my advanced statistics test, so I can't even say that I am a smart PhD student. I have a good paying job, but its definitely not the love of my life. In fact, I HATE coming to work everyday. As I walk down the long line of cubes, to my itsy bitsy desk, I wonder "Is this all there is in life?"
